With most skin peels you are likely to see results after one session, however, certain peels require courses for the best results. Your aesthetic practitioner will advise you on this during your consultation.

This will depend on the depth of the peel. With superficial peels, it is unlikely that you will have any visible skin shedding. Deeper skin peels typically result in skin peeling for 5-7 days. You will be informed of the aftercare and downtime depending on your bespoke peel plan.

It is normal to feel a warm sensation or tingling, however, chemical peels do not hurt.

This is entirely dependent on your skin needs and the type of peel you have. Some peels require a course of 3-6 sessions to achieve the desired results, whilst other skin peels are only recommended once or twice a year.

The skin is disinfected, cleansed and prepared with non-toxic solutions. The active chemical peel solution is then applied to the skin for a few minutes. The active peel solution is removed with either another cleansing agent or a neutraliser. It is normal to feel warmth and tingling during your treatment.

The ZO® stimulator peel is a 30-minute peel treatment to instantly refresh and brighten skin. It helps to improve fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin texture and skin quality. This chemical skin peel is suitable for all skin types and there is no downtime, as no skin peeling occurs. Key active ingredients for this skin peel include a combination of glycolic, lactic and citric acid.

The ZO® Medical peel provides intense skin exfoliation, promotes skin renewal and treats a wide range of skin disorders. Preparation of the skin is required for all skin types and 5-7 days of recovery time is anticipated following the treatment. Key active ingredients for this skin peel include salicylic acid, trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and lactic acid. This TCA peel helps to improve acne, scarring, sun damage, rough texture, fine lines, dull skin and pigmentation.
